The Secondary School Admission Test, or SSAT, is an admissions test administered to students in grades 5-11 to help determine placement into independent or private junior high and high schools, including the nation’s top boarding schools. Students in grade 5-7 would be taking the Lower Level SSAT. Students will learn how to write a succinct essay and how to conquer the test’s multiple choice sections (mathematics, reading comprehension, and verbal analogies and synonyms). Our SSAT program is designed to strengthen the verbal, quantitative, and reading skills tested on the exam. Our course emphasizes techniques and methodologies to improve critical thinking and problem-solving skills that are essential for excelling on the SSAT. The Ivy Key provides adept, experienced and friendly Ivy League educated instructor to match the students’ needs and teach the core content of the SSAT. Instruction is delivered in a comprehensive format with a personal touch, and backed by the Ivy Key guarantee.
