Stephanie graduated from Yale University with a BA in Psychology. She was the recipient of the Light Fellowship to study Mandarin Chinese in Beijing and Inner Mongolia. She also studied film intensively at FAMU, a premiere film academy in Prague. At Yale, she held leadership positions in two a cappella groups, and she independently founded an SAT preparation class for underprivileged students at a local New Haven high school. Stephanie has over six years of tutoring experience, and is passionate about helping students of all ages and backgrounds achieve their academic goals. She scored in the 99th percentile on the SAT, as well as on the Math II, Literature and Spanish SAT subject tests. She is an expert on the most effective strategies for all sections of these exams, and has additional expertise in AP Psychology and high school math and history. Stephanie takes the time to get to know her students individually so she can not only keep her lessons engaging, but also create the most effective strategies for each student's needs. When not tutoring, Stephanie loves to sing, dance, act, and travel.
