About Kyro earned his Bachelor’s degree in Government and Religion from Dartmouth College, where he wrote a senior honors thesis and served as Student Director of Dartmouth’s Multi-Faith Council. A life-long New Yorker and Queens native, Kyro has seven years’ experience tutoring, advising, and mentoring high school and college students, mostly as a volunteer through his local church. He has helped countless students maximize their scores on the SAT and ACT and build the best possible applications to elite undergraduate and graduate programs.
Since graduating, Kyro (a native Arabic speaker of Egyptian descent) has worked for a political activism organization, a U.S. Congressman, a private consulting firm, and a nonprofit philanthropic organization. He embraces the most challenging tutoring assignments and remains patient with and committed to every single one of his students, no matter how severe their struggles. He has shown the same devotion to his beloved New York Knicks for most of his life. Kyro also enjoys coaching his old high school basketball team, traveling, and talking politics.
